Good to know

  • Licences last for the life of production
  • When making a production in association with a UK broadcaster, please check with them to see if your use of music is covered under their blanket agreement with MCPS, if it is, refer to our Broadcaster Blankets section for more information
  • Fees shown are valid until 1 April 2026 and cover the synchronisation of production music into programmes and to make copies of those programmes for the purposes of supplying these to broadcasters (whether television channels or video on demand platforms), plus the manufacture and retail sale on DVD in the territory selected
  • Series licences apply to productions that contain between 4 and 12 individual episodes
  • Annual licences apply where the licensee is a single production company making a minimum of 25 individual episodes within a 12-month period
  • Group IPC deals are available for a group company contracting on behalf of several wholly owned subsidiary production companies. Please Contact us for more information
  • Programmes made for online video streaming services (incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime) are covered under this licence
  • Aggregation is permitted for all Per 30s rates and allows various music cues to be added together to produce a cumulative total. Simply report your individual cues to us and we will take care of the aggregation.

  • Only productions synchronised in the UK can be licensed through our rate card
